Prague, 11 May 2016 - ERV Evropská pojistovna was again successful in the prestigious Insurer of the Year survey. In the 16th year of the competition, ERV Evropská became for the tenth consecutive year a winner in the category of specialized insurance. The survey is traditionally held by the Association of Czech Insurance Brokers (ACIB) in cooperation with the Czech Insurance Association (CIA) and specialized oPojištění.cz server.
With its already tenth victory in specialized insurance category of the Insurer of the Year survey, ERV Evropská again defended its position of the market leader. It confirmed its in-depth specialization in travel insurance. While other positions significantly change year to year, ERV Evropská was awarded the title every single year since 2006. This year´s second place took Euler Hermes insurance company, third place went to D.A.S. Rechtsschutz AG. The results of the vote were announced at the gala night at ČNB Kongresové centrum on May 10, 2016. “We very much appreciate that incredible line of ten years when most brokers rank us on the first place in the category of specialized insurance.” says Ondřej Rušikvas, Chief Sales Officer at ERV Evropská pojistovna and adds: “We constantly try to improve services provided to our clients and brokers. I can say that tenth victory in a row proves that we do it the right way. Last year for example, we launched a brand new mobile application Moje Evropská that enables our clients to have all the information about their travel insurance, including their travel documents, at their hand in the phone."
The aim of the Insurance Company of the Year award is to contribute to the general cultivation of the Czech insurance sector. Thanks to the survey the profile of its best players can be risen based on an objective assessment of their services, i.e. not uniquely by their marketing image. Each of the more than seven hundred insurance brokers registered by Czech National Bank gets an opportunity to reflect on the quality and scope of insurers and compare their performances.
A high prestige of the survey is given by professional ratings that are based on detailed knowledge of individual products as well as a personal experience with services provided. “In their assessment of ERV, brokers mainly praised the high quality insurance programme both for individual and corporate clients, the personalized approach to clients, high coverage limits as well as fast claims handling,” says Zdeňka Indruchová, Executive Director of the Association of Czech Insurance Brokers justifying the award.
